How to Reset Netflix on my Roku?


Roku Factory Reset for Netflix not working on Roku.



You will need to get access to the Secret Screen on your Roku screen. To do this, click on the
buttons in series and number of times as shown here:

  1. Back button (clicking five times)
  2. Fast forward (press up three times)
  3. Rewind (clicking 2 times)

The Secret Screen is to open with two visible columns.

  1. The left column is your Roku device system detail.
  2. The right column contains clickable links for different tasks (including just fyi for "Factory Reset").
  3. If there is an IP address on the left side of the screen, click on the "Update App" button on the right side of the screen.
  4. Wait patiently while the system is successfully checked for a software update, and then
  5. apply it to the system if it finds an update.
  6. You'll be sent back to your normal Roku screen at the end of the update process.


If the above steps have not improved your Roku service, try resetting the Roku unit to its factory
settings by repeating step one above and then clicking "Factory Reset" on the "Private Screen" page.


Alternatively, you can do a "Factory Reset" by locating the reset hole on the Roku Remote
(it is on the front side of the unit on my Remote) and then pressing the end of a paperclip into the
hole and holding it for 20 seconds which will activate the reset function.
